Run Raises over $20,000!!! - A HUGE THANK YOU to our Mackay West
community for this wonderful achievement. Thankyou so much to all who
sponsored students for this event. We held our first ever Mackay
West Fun Run on Friday 3 April. Although it was quite warm, all children
from Prep to Year 7 participated and a fun day was had by all. The
students received a popper and iceblock afterwards to cool off.
The whole school came together for the prize draw
after second break. With Mr Holmes running the show, we handed out
over 80 prizes to some lucky students. Once again we would like to
sincerely thank our Mackay West families and friends for this wonderful
effort.
